For the past 26 years we have lived in a house with a dish washer. Our family was not big enough that we could fill it up with dishes from one meal. If the dishes did not get rinsed off to an almost clean state, the crud would dry up before the washer was full and the washer would not get them "clean". Then you would have to clean them again. The situation I have posed to my wife, and one that I practice: Add a little dish soap to the initial rinse and put them in the drying rack. In an hour they will be dry and you/I can put them in the cabinet. Less water overall used, less electricity used, less time spent in the process. What do the folk out there say?
