Is that what is commonly called a blister bug?

fairly sure it is a Long-Horn Wood Beetle

 

It's a wasp.

 

I don't know what it's called, but they do look like some kind of small wasp. I've had several get in the house, but they seem harmless.

 

a wasp and a dirt dobber would have much more slender wings and a much smaller abdomen and a very skinny area between the thorax and abdomen and much shorter antennae

 

One that needs a shot of Raid!
