I have a humminbird fishfinder, and I am going to a Garmin fishfinder/sounder.
Currently, I have a humminbird, through hull transducer. I would perfer not to have to remove it. I was hoping that I could just keep the hummingbird transducer, and just convert the connection to work with the Garmin.
Does anyone know if there is a cable that you could use to convert Humminbird Transducer connection to a Garmin?.
Has anyone done this before? I was hoping just to be able to buy a cable that would convert the connector type, which would then allow me to connect it to my Garmin unit.
