Has anyone had any problems with tight line braid. We have, so lost a good sword probably the best one we had hooked since we haven’t landed a keeper yet only one short. About half way up the fish swam up on us then went down hard and the braid broke at the rod tip, I have this all on video after we got back to the dock we tested it with a digital scale and the 65lb braid was breaking at 18 to 24.5 lbs. so we contacted them as we had went to a swordfish seminar for checking bottom and met the guys that own tight line braid. He said we had some bad fibers and though they had taken care of the recalls but must have missed some. The owner said he would spool it that night and mail it with a spare spool to add. After that a week later he said the fibers just came in and it almost 3 weeks after that nothing at all. So be warned

Here are the results of the Tight Line Braid testing that I had performed through the IGFA. These results were paid for by me on three different spools of line that I had purchased and was professionally installed on my reels.
