If you have them, why wouldn't you just take them?

 

I just bought them yesterday would be my first time wearing them, Didn't know if it was cool enough for them. Sorry but Im a newb when it comes to waders.

 

I plan on goin too. I'm taking waders. Not just because water temp. But I don't feel like riding home wet lol

Sounds to me like this is a question you should be asking 'your boys'!!!

But i agree with Robbie Guy, if you have them why not just bring them along and then decide??? What seems cold to me might be fine with you.

True. What seems warm to your hands may be different to the stones. Better to have them than want them!

 

Hypothermia kills... Just becasue you can take the cold, doesn't mean you should.

 

Harsh crowd. Yes you should wear waders. Unless you were born and raised in the Arctic Circle you will be cold without them. The water is too cold to wet wade if you own a pair of waders.

 

I prefer to not wear them as long as possible. Went on monday to SWP and it was 70 degreees outside. Glad I wore my waders... Water was pretty dad gum chilly.

 

if you wet wade,you,,,WILL have,,,,'MAJOR' shrinkage and if the wind is blowing it will make for an uncomfortable outing

 

All I can say is, I went Wednesday morning and had my waders and Hodgman wading jacket and still was chilled at times.

 

Surface temp of 62 degrees this morning. If you bought breathables it will probably be awesome. Neoprene might be warm but you will be glad you did.

Bring the waders lol..water has cooled down since few cold fronts passed..bring them In case..I do not want to wet wade in the winter haha
