We use to fish there in the early 80's. took chairs and put them in the water about 20 yards from the bank and caught alot of Good redfish that were ALL keepers.

 

It is my understanding that fishing the entrance off of the Intercostal on an outgoing tide can be very productive. Having never fished there I was just looking for fishy spots. I did lose several jig heads and plastics working around the oyster shell.

I enjoyed fishing there and am curious about the best time of year to fish there. With the water being so shallow - I would imagine the strong low tides would preclude me from fishing during winter.

Hopefully, later in the summer I’ll be able to get back down there.

 

We were fishing in the summer usually at sun down. Lot's of reds. Oh yea we used finger mullet caught in castnet.

 

I have the same blue sky 360, just put a torqeedo on the back. last weekend wore me out
