Here’s a full replacement handle for a Stella 2000. Turns out that Gomexus has the whole unit. The specs for this handle below indicate compatibility with several of the Stella models. It also tells you other brands and models that this handle fits. Use that info to research other reel brands and models for handles that may work on your Stella.

Thanks for the reply it's appreciated. I'm aware that you need the R/H L/H shaft to change handle, but need whole handle with L/H shaft which Shimano UK & service centres don't have. Hence original question about other Shimmy model handles that may fit. Thanks David.

 

 

Shimano Stella’s are similar to the other Shimano spinning reels in that the full handle can be swapped to either the LH or RH side. They come setup as a LH retrieve. Takes less than 20 seconds to swap it over.

 

Not the Stella's R or L specific on most models. If you don't have the correct thread it ain't going on.

 

Are you wanting the full assembly (arm and knob) or just the knob?

If you want a knob only, Gomexus makes nice knobs that spin on ball bearings. I installed Gomexus round ball knobs on my Stradic 2500 and 3000 reels.

No it's the full handle. Left hand, (for some reason Shimano decided in it's infinate wisdom to make them right or left specific) There must be some other Shimano or custom aftermarket handles that fit.

Thanks, appreciate the reply. However, the handles fit more than just one reel. For example I think the H8 fits the Twin Power SW4000 XG as well. Or is the H prefix just for the knobs? Have already sent message to hedgehog & they say Stella 2500FL handle fits. (Cant find one of those either)
