I want to give a shout out to Brandon with Safe Floor. Brandon and his crew came out to my location and installed my floor. On time, courteous, professional, cleaned up their mess, and hauled off their trash. Haven’t seen service like that in a long time. They came out of the Kemah/Houston area, and I didn’t have to tow my boat which was a major plus. My deck was a little slippery, especially the ramp at the bow. Now I am not worried about people slipping, dropping 8 oz egg weights, butterfly jigs, or dragging rod butts on my floor. Permanent rubber mat that is 1/4 inch thick. Dresses up the boat really nice. Guaranteed for life.

That's really nice!! But I'd like to see some detailed pics of that wheel house!! And platform.

Look for the Horizon 3000 post.

I like it. Curious as to how much weight it adds to the average 24-25 ft boat???

Brandon with safe floor said about 3/4 lb per square foot. So maybe 150lbs on my boat?

98Aggie,

Did you buy the boat right? Just curious...

No sir....we did not.

We searched for a used Boatright, looked at new ones, even made a trip to Pierre Part LA to meet with a custom builder.

Everything pointed to a $60-$70K flatbottom...which defeated my purpose.

We found a really nice Alumacraft here on 2Cool...18x60 with a 70hp Yamaha.

This is giving my son and I a chance to work on a project while he is home from college....making a lot of upgrades together and still should be in the $15K range all in (jack plate, GPS, power pole, bed lining the railing, hydroturf, on board charger, etc, etc.).

Safe Floor is a great product and Brandon and his guys are good folks. I love the flooring and how they stand behind it. If you have an issue with your flooring, Brandon will fix it. 100%. I know it is a little bit costly but it is worth every penny to me. I'll have it in every one of my boats.

It does not add enough weight to matter. For those who are asking. It's evenly applied over the whole deck so you see no difference in how the boat sits.
