If they are anything like their bass rigs they are a well built boat, just real heavy. Now the 223 Cayman, on the other hand, is one of the sweetest looking rigs on the water.

Maybe in my next life, G

poppincork,

I have a 2002 Ranger Bay 2300 and love it! Excellent quality, fit and finish. It is a heavy boat; the hull weighs 2600#s before adding engine, fuel, etc. It is not a fast hull by todays standards. I have it powered with a Yamaha 225 4-stroke and WOT is 45mph. It has lots of storage and is built like a tank. I am the second owner as it was 7 months old when I bought it. Ranger customer service is second to none. Typical with boat ownership, I have had some items (circuit breakers, recirculating pump, etc.) that have failed and Ranger has sent replacement parts at no charge. Most recently, I had a torsion axle that failed. I contacted Ranger and they sent me a brand new one at no cost and free shipping even though it was 8 months out of warranty. A local trailer manufacturer in Houston wanted $453 for the axle. If you have any other questions drop me a PM or email.
