Anything physically different?

 

I got the older style so I could have more range on the remote when wade fishing. I heard the new ones didn't or don't have the range the older ones do.

 

How do you like that power pole? I'm about to buy a 2006 Skeeter ZX22 bay with a power pole on it. Q

 

I have the original power pole and I like it better than the blades for one reason. I tend to pole down in a lot of soft mud and the blades( kinda recessed) seem to not want to close all the way because of the mud. All in all, the power poles are great

 

I have two signature series blades on mine. I think the blades and sig series look better, but they work the same as the regular ones and cost a lot more.

Blades have been in major back order this summer, and power poles have to. Not as bad as blades. I've been waiting on 2 blades for over a month now. Great products just high demand.

 

Yeah I was trying to get a blade recently and found out about the shortage so now I'm considering the talon. What are y'all's thoughts on this. Should I wait or are the talons just as good? Was looking for a 10 foot blade but see I can get a 12 foot talon.

 

I've a 12 foot Talon all summer. No issues so far.

 

Talon has been nothing but problems in the salt. I see them in the shop all the time.

 

X2..... Get a Power-Pole !!!!!

 

I had 10ft blades on my last boat and my buddy had talons on his. The talon does have more problems and are easy to steal. We took his pathfinder down to spi and stoped at the walmart. We might have been in the store 10 min. A guy had aleady taken one off and cut the power wire and as we walk up was pulling the second off. If he had any more time he would have been gone with both of them. When I get the money I will be getting blades again for my shearwater.
