I have a question for the group. I am planning a fishing trip for September. I want to fish the jetties at the Packery Channel. Can someone please tell me which is the "Channel" side, and which is the "Surf" side jetty ? Also, where you think I'd have better luck. Thanks in advance.

Packery is a very small jetty. It is only about 75 yds wide. There will be no mistaking the surf and channel side. If you are on the north jetty looking offshore the surf is on your left and channel is on your right. It’s reversed if you are on the south jetty. As far as fishing goes it varies. But you can easily try both surf and channel to see where and what’s biting.
Don’t forget the 2021 beach parking permit if you don’t already have one. Cheaper than a ticket!
