It is King Of the Road, made famous by Roger Miller, and Podnur has the right answer , although the forwared site is not working to well.

You are correct Sidecutter! What I wanted podnuh to do was post his answer at the quiz site, "Aunt Joyce's Place". That's where I check the answers.
My 3 sons and husband used to listen to Roger Miller. We purchased several of his records. (Back then CD's didn't exist...only LP's and 45s.) The five of us would sit in the dining room and finish our suppers. Then I'd put one of the records on and we'd laugh all through dessert, If there was any.
