he's your co-brother

well .. according to wikipedia .. there is not an english term that defines that realtionship.. however the term (brother-in-law) is often used
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Co_brother
if you were to move to southern india however.. you would call him our co-brother

Hmmmmm, he wants to fish from your boat, but can't get off his behind to get a job? Definitely NOT your BIL. In fact, I think that sort of behavior is grounds for dissolution of any sort of relationship.

SMART ALECK PROVISO:
I don't want anyone to think I'm being a jerk, even for humor. I'm voicing real feelings here. I know what it's like to be unemployed. I went 8 months without a real job once and it was tough. It never entered my mind to go on welfare. I got odd jobs, scrimped, sold most of my belongings, applied for everything in town, only to be constantly told I was "Overqualified", and generally went through heck. I found a way to make it without any assistance from anyone. It took me 2 years to pay off my credit card debts, and I'm ok. I know it can be hard to find a job sometimes, even when you're willing to flip burgers, sometimes they won't let you. If it's been more than a year, tell him to get off the dole before he steps on your boat.
