Medical info needed

Had some test run the other day Drs office called and said
the DR wants to talked to me about some blockage in one of
the arteries in my neck. Curious as to how this is treated
anyone ever have this type problem. Will not see the dr until next
week kinda worried about it.Already had a mild stroke2 years ago

I'm not sure how they get to your neck to do the procedure, but the fix is quite simple if they use a stent. They put a stent into the area of blockage and inflate a tiny balloon from the inside of the stent and open up the blockage. Then they deflate the balloon and remove it. The new stents are made of surgical steel with a medicine that keeps any build up on the stent.

I have no experience yet with artery blockage but Jerry just told me that her
dad had veins on both sides of his neck replace to prevent strokes.
I guess it`s a whole different thing between arteries and veins.
