Dont know about that one. It kind of looks like one of the Hondas that are so quiet. I just use a cheap 2500W that I got from Pep Boys right before Rita. It has worked well for me. Even kept me in light and a small tv, as well as kept my freezer going for the two weeks we were without power after Ike, and it ran constantly. The only time it was off was when I decided to change the oil in it after running for a week. It only cost something like $300 I think they go for around 350 or so nowdays. check out Pep Boys and see if they still have them.
I run two 1000W spotlights to fish with off it, and it works just fine. Itll run all night on about 3 gallons of gas.

EDIT: Its not the inverter type generator, which from my limited knowledge gives a cleaner power that is safe for electronics and such. That said, it didnt hurt my little portable tv, and will run your lights without issues.

 

Make sure to look at wisesales.com for your generator. They saved me money on my Honda 2000. It is the best money I have spent. Deer lease buddies keep it on all night even if they do not need the juice. They say it helps them sleep. Only uses a gallon a night.

 

Thanks guys. I was just wondering if anyone has any firsthand knowledge of this generator. It has the power I need and it's very portable at only 62lbs, but I don't know if it is built well. I'd hate to get a $600 piece of plastic junk.
