I use the default. No real reason.
Along the same lines, what about not having emails on every thread I resond too. Would this save bandwidth? I forget to go and unsubscribe before leaving and then I get 30 emails that someone has posted on the thread.

 

LOL...I have mine set to not email me unless I specifically tell it to.

 

I've been use'n the default lately, just to make it look different. My puter was yellow for years so I switched it over to make it look different to passers by. Now they think I'm busy! LOL

the easy way to set which style is to find the drop down box on the bottom left of the page.

 

The yellow is the original style. The blue didn't come along 'til much, much later. I started this thread because two people mentioned to me on the beach that they wish the board was still yellow to get that old TTMB feel. I had it on blue for one day when the default when to blue, and it lost that 2coolfishing feel to me, so I had to switch it back to yellow. I figured there were probably others who didn't know they could change the look back to the old TTMB/2coolfishing look.

 

I like Old Yeller better

 

The yeller make it a little obvious that you are REALLY surfing, the blue is more subtle.

 

Well, the yeller will keep ya awake for those late night post ... but I use the default.

what the signature line, "ole yeller board member meant". Completely forgot about that. Man, I am getting old? Tight lines, Guy

I used to have one called Midnight Blue that almost had a cult following. It was the only style I ever used that had white text. I might get some more time to do some hacking in the near future. I have been chasing a serious server overload problem, and finally found it today at 3:30. It don't matter what colors you like if the **** board don't load. It's already made a huge difference in the board speed.
