Looking to do some gigging/bowfishing for flounder next weekend in galveston. I've been told west bay and the flats by San Luis pass are a good place to start. Any tips or areas to cover would be much appreciated!

Caught a lot of under size flounder last weekend. Clear water before front showed up.SLP to Christmas.

The edges of the flats around San Luis pass are where I'd look, on the moving tide, near drop offs to deeper water. Water has been clearer down there compared to the middle of West bay, or at least it was last weekend when I was there.

Thanks for the tip, looks like the san luis flats would be worth a shot then.
