What is your favorite Waterloo Rod? Personally I only have experience using four of their rods. The phantom, salinity, bait runner and hp lite. Im looking to get another rod but haven't decided yet.
Phantom - I've found this rod to be a good basic entry rod since it's the cheapest one Waterloo makes. I think it's a tad bit too sensitive for use with live bait from my experiences with it although it can be done.
Salinity - Overall the best rod in my opinion as it can do everything. Artificial, popping cork, and live bait all seem to work with it. For the price tag I think it's hard to beat.
Bait Runner - croaker/top water rod. Too stiff for artificial but it has a strong backbone that can handle some big fish.
Hp lite - Great for artificial. I can feel bites on this rod better than any of the others. I have to say though that it is extremely light and out of all the rods on here this is the one I'm most afraid to break lol.
Here's a video on all of these with some other opinions incase you want more info on them.
