My Curado 100D makes a weird grinding noise while I'm reeling, but only when it's under a load (fish). What is it?

I was just sitting here with the reel and realized it's not a grinding sound like a gear, but a bearing sound like one or two of the balls missing.....jingling crunch sound! LOL
Does it make that same sound when in free spool? If not then my guess is the pinion bearing is going out.
there r two bearings that are terrible on the curadoe's the main pinion gear , under that silver plate held on by two screws and that bearing on the main shaft that the handle screws on , both will make a terrible sound . the one under the handle shaft is terrible cause they have a hole that goes straight to were the spool goes around, bringing in saltwater. i've bought lots of both bearings ovr the years
