Does anyone have one for a daily driver?

I was driving a F-350 SRW short bed CC , dang thing was not parking garage friendly and was just not practical to drive everyday if I didn't need to have the utility of the truck. Bought a VW Jetta TDI for a daily driver 30K miles a year it a lot easier to park and get 40 mpg and is actually fun to drive. Truck is a fifth wheel pulling machine and Home Depot go get it.

Drove an 06' KR for a couple of years as my personal and it was just like any other truck you get used to. My last three and current have been LWB SWD one tons and my wife can park that thing anywhere with the help of the back up cameras nowadays. But she was scared poopless when she drove that dually. It was usually when I was drinking and we had to be on the road and never when we we went to town. She hates the walls. Lol. Meaning you get used to it like anything that is a change from your norm.

Yes
Ha ha sorry should have added how do you like it, is it a pain or not have you had to change your routine etc.
Also are you able to check your tire pressure somewhat painlessly I've read about dually owners having to put air valve extensions and stuff on them.
And also do they get squirrly going around curves on ice and wet surfaces.

I had an F450 DRW CC, LB King Ranch. I hated it. Dumped it after a year. It had something like 4.56 gears and got terrible mileage loaded or empty. Tires were expensive and you need 6 instead of 4. If you need DRW and that kind of towing capacity then there is no substitute. But the question is do you really need DRW? Do you need a Long Bed. Those are the two things that really cramp your parking in these vehicles. My current F-250 is a Long Bed and I wish it wasn't. But it has a 10,000 lb GVW and is rated to pull 15,000 lbs on the tongue. (6.2 L Gas). It tows all I need it to. And actually anything more and you need a CDL.

My F450 was more difficult to check tire pressures but you can get inside tire adaptors to help with that. I never noticed anything squirley about it driving. It was a solid driver on the road.

I remember my first DRW truck. I clipped a rear fender on a turn within the first 20 miles of driving it off the lot. $3500 to fix it.

With any long bed you are going to be parking towards the back of most parking lots and you are not going to go into many, if any, modern parking garages. Add DRW and you further limit yourself. If you need it then you put up with the disadvantages. If I did not need the F-250 to pull a gooseneck I would have an F150.
