I just take a small apple paring knife and heat the end of it up and use It to melt the corky back together basically.. works well on the ones that get split in the nose
With out the cork how does the bait look? Does it roll on you when not moving or is it a weighted jig head set up to keep it straight?
I would like to see a buck tail on the thing personally to give it a little of that little border wiggle when it is since it is not corky neutral.
Besides I tried a cc at the pool to try to get a little more movement and it did give it the impression of the wiggle but I have not been on the water to try it.
Its a 1/16 oz weighted worm hook that I epoxied a glass rattle to. I have not messed with it but I may tomorrow. I will say I caught a bunch of fish before it got tore up. Switched out to a mirrodine and still caught fish but they didnt hold on to the lure like the softdine.
