Catalyst Boatworks

Salt Sled,

I am the owner and creator of Catalyst Boatworks. Yes, I was also a member of what was Torrent. I regret to hear that the finish you saw on Torrent boats did not meet your quality expectations. I can say that we did recognize that there was much room for improvement with Torrent, and we learned a great deal from that endeavor.

That said, the intricate / rigorous design phase, and mold building process for the Catalyst hulls has delivered a fit and finish that can be compared to many of the top names in the industry, but we’re not stopping there. We want to earn the respect of our audience, potential customers, and owners of Catalyst boats. The first Catalyst hull came out of the mold less than 4 months ago, so we do understand that earning that respect will just take time. It doesn’t just happen overnight, especially in the boat building world. Maybe the way we can describe our drive to be one of the best is by going by the old saying…”You’re only as good as your last performance.” We’re doing everything we possibly can to rise above our “last performance” and even though we believe we have already beaten it repeatedly, we will never stop trying to improve, and we’ll never settle.

We would be happy to help you get to see the Catalyst for yourself. Whether it be a visit to the manufacturing facility, or by helping you get setup with a demo ride through one of our dealers, just let us know. Thank you for your interest in Catalyst.

I saw one of your Catalyst Boats down in POC this weekend unless it was your personal? Do yall have a place down there on Carrie and Harrison? Thats where the guy has it,he also used to have one of your Torrents. If so we are one block over from you on Easy street. Good looking boats man they look like a beast for sure! I bet itd make them long runs down south in big water a breeze, and still be able to get in da skinny...Very nice boat
