I've used Lightstream a few times in the past, they were quick and easy with no pay off penalties. I'm sure the interest rates on recreation loans right now will be sky high.
Light stream. One of the easiest approval processes ever. As mentioned no pen skirt for early payoff. 30 min online application process. Finding usually same day.
Lightstream as mentioned, I got mine from them last year for my grady white. No collateral no age of boat requirements, just have good credit. And a word of advice, who ever you go with factor in the cost of registration and taxes. I forgot to do that and had to pay out of pocket.
Good morning,
We help with boat loans. We work with several lenders so there are options. We start with a soft credit pull to see what you might qualify for.
Let me know how we can help.
Thank you,
Ken
Every person that I’ve dealt with here on 2Cool has been exceptional. No BS, honest deals, and quality people. Boat dealers, guides, boat service, personal sales, etc.
I've always had the best luck with my local credit union. I primarily use Matagorda County Credit Union in Bay City. Baycel is usually neck and neck with them. They are usually a bit lower than TDECU. I bank with TDECU but they are almost always a point higher on boat loans than the smaller CUs I deal with.
I just financed a new boat and the best I found a couple of weeks ago was 7.5%. I was quoted as high as 8.99%. That is for 48-60 month loans. Longer term is probably higher.
Good morning. The "best deal" depends on many things. Price, finance amount, term of the loan, credit score, credit history, prior loan amounts, down payment, age of what is being bought, loan amount VS value, buyers debt to income ratio and even where someone lives all come into play. There is no silver bullet that is best in all cases.
We work with several lenders and do a soft credit pull to help make the plan. Be careful of credit shotgunners when it comes to your bureau. We like to have the plan before making a rifle shot to the lender we need.
Let me know how we can help.
Thank you,
Ken
Congrats on the new sled, and yeah, 6% is about the best you're gonna get now. Randolph Brooks has always been my go to as well, they seem to always be a little cheaper than TDECU.
