They have 2 versions of the 256.we have sold lots of the bay models, coastals have been slower to get ahold of. Max rating is 400 hp. 80 gallon tank, Available with hard top Or local
fabricated T top. 51 to 54 mph with 300hp super comfortable ride, great handling, draft 14 to 16 inch

 

I have a buddy that has the 25. It's a solid boat for bay or offshore. That's what's on my short list when I get ready to get another boat.

The BJ 256 is blazing fast for it’s size! That’s a LOT of hydraulic drag on a hull with only 300-350hp.

 

I have never been on one but they sure are beautiful. Probably my dream fishing rig. I remember seeing one at the boat show a few years ago and marveling at the size of the front deck.

I like BJ service,,, I've called for some minor things and they put me straight thru to Len,,, he runs the show. And the girls that answer my calls are super nice.
