Okay so I need a rugged shotgun, and before I was looking at guns with a 3 1/2" chamber, but then I realized I didn't need it. I am a duck hunter and I hunt in the marshes and bays, so I am around saltwater. I will also do some dove hunting and the occasional goose and maybe even turkey hunt. Do y'all think this gun will hold up well? If so, who has the best price on it? Thanks!

I use mine for dove only, it's never seen saltwater but I love it. It's been to Argentina with no problems. Killed 2700 dove. Very smooth shooting.
My M2 did not hold up well in saltwater. I would recommend the SBE II if you are going to hunt saltwater areas. The camo coating holds up better than the black matte finish of the M2. The SBE II will do anything you need it to.
I wonder if a black SBEII would have yielded the same results? My son and I just got new M2s and shot them over the weekend for the first time on sporting clays. The high rib was no problem for either of us.
The black matte finish will not hold up to saltwater. The vent rib on the SBE II makes no difference that I could tell.
