I have been watching this deer for a fifth year now. He is one of the last ones that has the high rack with a small spread. I am pretty sure of the age because I have pictures of him every year. Will he go 13"?

If you have to ask, then you know it's not 13"...seriously, you know better than us.

Trouthunter your right. I have let him walk twice in the last three years. I am just trying justify it to myself in case he walks out this year. Like I said before, he will probably be one that dies from old age. At least I will have some good pictures of him.

We use same rule when measuring from the stand. Inside spread at least an inch outside of un-alerted ears or inside spread even with end of ears. Haven't got to test it many times though - we let most walk.
Bad deal though on this one - needs to go!

I agree with Nitro because the deers rack is going to be measured at the widest point an just looking at it,it appears to be over 13" but not by much if it is.
