Gulf Stream Shutting Down.

I could not resist and fell for the Yahoo click bait. It seems the Gulf Stream is shutting down and we are going to die.


Horrible news just in.

The Gulf Stream is weaker than any time in the last 1600 years. Which is going to lead to… You guessed it frigid Euro temps.

And it has been attributed to our use of fossil fuels. So we burn fossil fuels, melt Greenland and the warming causes us to get colder. So I personally recommend that we do not burn fossil fuels and get colder, so we don't get warmer and melt Greenland which will make us freeze to death. But then again if we don't get warmer and melt Greenland and freeze to death we may freeze to death because we are not warming anymore. Or something like that…

Does this make sense?

I sure wish the ice on my lake would melt. The average historical "ice out" date for our lake is April 22nd. There is no way that it will be gone this year until some time well into May. Heck, we will still be driving ATVs on the lake ice this weekend to get to our ice fishing spots.

Is this report saying.... If I quit burning my fireplace, the lake ice will go away sooner... or later?
It's very confusing.... Where is Al Gore when Ya need him?

I cringe when the looney left site "statistical" numbers that claim to be centuries old.

Here's my retort when they talk global warming due to fossil fuels: I question their data. "Draw a line on the ground with a pencil that is 10 miles long. That line represents time since the Earth was created. Now pick any place along that line and make a tiny dot with the tip of the pencil. That dot represents the amount of real weather data we have in the modern age. Still sure of your "theory"?"

Well, first they blamed fossil fuel for warming up the earth and melting the ice and now making the weather colder. My conclusion: Just a bunch of idiot Al Gore Jr.

I believe the weaker Gulf Stream can be directly attributed to the proliferation of Yeti coolers.

By Yeti's propensity to produce ice and the Yeti's ability to prevent that ice from ever melting, we are rapidly moving into the next major ice age.

Global temperatures will plunge causing crop failures and wide spread starvation. Our cities' streets will be covered by vast ice flows shutting down all means of transportation. Free flowing water will become scarce causing world wide hygiene and sanitation problems leading to an outbreak of pandemic diseases which will decimate the human population.

I believe it is more than time to address this dire 'Yeti Effect'. Yeti cooler production must be halted. Existing coolers must be confiscated and destroyed if we are to have any hope of saving our Earth.

Yeti's are built with pretty much 100% Fossil Fuel by products. Wouldn't destroying them, still bring about our demise? This is a catch 22 situation. Just as the movie Terminator 2 for warned us about, Skynet!

What gets me is these 'scientist' are not evaluated on their (as a group) past predictions.

Back in the late '70's there was a tv series with Leonard Nimoy called In Search of . There he showed the 'scientific' data and the 'scientist's' predictions that we were headed for the next ice age.

I am in the electronics manufacturing industry. Up until 30ish years ago we used this wonderful solvent to clean the circuit cards. It was Freon based. The 'scientist' of the day said this Freon was destroying the ozone. Hell, Al Gore even showed us and 'ozone hole' over the Antarctic. This (and all Freon) was so stable and so destructive, if we completely stopped using it, we were all still going to die from skin cancer. Yet, here we still are.

And thanks to these 'scientists' nearly every country eliminated CFCs (except some specialized uses) in 1995 causing the hole in the ozone to shrink.
