Looking to book a guide to wade fish East Matagorda this spring or summer. I fish there regularly and wanted to use it more for learning techniques to improve. Any recommendations are appreciated, want to get it booked before they fill up this summer.

Nick Mosley is the guide I prefer to go with. He is a local guy and launches out of Sargent.
His dad was also a guide on East Matagorda. Very good wade fisherman and puts a great deal of effort into helping you learn.

Ive used Tommy Countz and been well pleased

I've fished with Countz a couple of times and Paradoski nearly a dozen times. I'm not sure Countz fishes East Matagorda Bay much. Either way though, if I had to pick between the two, it would be Charlie, who I've known since the 90s when I fished Matty a lot with Capt Bill Pustejovsky. They had a friendly rivalry for years and I started hiring Charlie when Bill moved out of state
