Tire pressure on matagorda beach

Where can I air back up once I’m off the beach?

Not sure but if you had a Stanley Jump Starter / Compressor, you could take care of it yourself. They are very handy.

You should always have an air compressor in your truck. I have never had the need to deflate my tires while at Matagorda.

Unless the sand is super soft powder there is no need to deflate, especially if driving a 4x4.

I drive a F250 (gas) and did not have a problem last week. I went across the dunes to back side of matty. I also pulled a lady in a camarro out who did not know what she was doing on beach side. I started getting stuck at first, unhooked, backed out, then reset and pulled her out. I would not be scared to take a diesel across the dunes either.

CO2 air tanks can be built pretty cheap, work really good
