Laguna Custom Rods

So I remember seeing posts whereby customers (potential customers) have a hard time syncing with Laguna Rods. Add my wife to that list. She ordered a rod on Monday, but there is no way to pay on their website. She got a message that somebody from their team would contact her within 24 hours......well three days later, still no contact. She's tried calling and only received an answering machine, still no contact.

What is wrong with this company?

My biggest problem with Laguna was trying to choose which of their rods to go with! They all felt awesome.

Never tried to call them , just went to shop.

Have dozens of their rods , back to when twins owned company.
Did not like the cyclone eye models so traded those in.
Dang good rods, small outfit but would hope a call back in day or so. May be gone fishing

Yeah, I get that their rods are desirable, that's why I asked my wife to order one for my father's day gift. This doesn't explain the terrible service.

Is it common for the whole company to go fishing all week? I fish exclusively in Port Mansfield (about as remote as one can get) and still have internet and phone service, so not a good excuse. Unfortunately I cannot drive three hours to their location, especially if nobody is even there and no way to know if anybody is even there because they don't email or return calls.

There is a certain virus affecting many businesses and things are running a little slower than usual. They maybe one of them.
Most all these guys are heavy in social media. Try and reach them through one those platforms

Hey I can say in that case, I would do that. I have both Laguna and Sarge. I love them both and they are hard to pick one. But if I HAD to choose one, Sarge for sure.

If you do go with him, when your rod is done make the drive to Port Arthur to pick it up.. it's worth it

I called them two hours ago and they answered on the third ring. We confirmed I’ll go by before they leave at 5. Are you sure you have the right number?

They did just move offices and go through corona so that may play into it. Even then, they answered my e mails within a day or two.
