Moving boat to Venice. Thoughts?

I have a 31' walkaround that I have had in Pensacola for the past few years and I live in Dallas. In years past the blue water was consistently in as close as 30 miles but the past few years it has been a bit of a bust with blue water 80-120 miles out during summer months. We got some blue water 40 miles or so out last fall but really not what I am looking for.

I used to tow my 28' center console to Venice regularly and for obvious reasons love the fishing there and completely understand there is nothing else to do there but fish-! The boat has a full tower on it so I would have to dry rack it outisde somewhere (probably Cypress Cove). O have read plenty of posts about Grand Isle but have never been there and at this point would prefer the pass options west, south and east out of Venice.

Just looking for some feedback from those that have moved their boats to Venice and am curious to know what options are there for outboard and electronics boat repairs and maintenance. Thanks in advance!!
