Any luck in surf 6/10?

Went to surfside this morning with a buddy and the surf was not laying like we thought it was going to with the north wind. Few guys fishing, 0 hookups on DSL’s and didn’t notice anyone hooking up on live bait either..Anyone else have a different story?

Hoping it clears up in the next two days.

Hit SS Sunday morning at 5 am and when just enough lite went in with mirror lure nothing hitting it so went back out with live shrimp under popping cork. Caught 1 trout, 1 shark and 3 Gafftops. that was it surf was inconsistent 2 ft swells to calm periods diffidently no flat. with the north winds should have been better. Several around me soaking Croaker got nothing.

Got to West End around 7:30 .... surf was up more than Sat. or Sunday ... water was sandy and bit dirty .... started with topwater .. no results ... switched to gulps and small whiting and croaker tore them up ... the guy next to me about 30 yards away landed a nice spec with shrimp under a popping cork. Went back to car for some water a few guys were leaving and gave me their live shrimp .... did not work ... small gaftop, croakers and whiting ...... not my day ... surf did lay down a bit in afternoon but it was dirty ,,,,,

I got down to the surfside jetty at 6AM on the dot and was in a toss-up between hitting the surf or going to the jetty. I chose the jetty and while it wasn't super productive I did land 3 trout. Two 20" and a 28". The cloud cover seemed to help quiet a bit until about 10AM and then the sun was in full effect and the wind was making life pretty difficult. The water was nice and green all the way to the shore so I would of expected a much better result from the surf but it just wasn't there from the guys I spoke with.
