Great report! I mainly fish surf on Surfside but will cross SLP to fish West bay occasionally. Nvr fished the west end, recommendations on where to enter and anything to watch out for (hazards, soft sand, etc)?

all the beach accesses i've seen lately in galvez are plenty drivable. i'm guessing all the recent rains and high tides have the sand packed

if these winds lay just a few more times will help. last week the water around freeport jetti started looking real nice and the amount of mullet over there was insane . until the wind picked back up and we got the storms! thanks for the report
