Well, TRA is flowing 56k fps at Goodrich... Plus there is more coming down the watershed. Sabine has been in a draw down becuase they are fixing some spillway issues so it's at 0fps for the moment. Neches has a slug of water headed that way in the 15k fps range. Hopefully it will just be short lived but this week has been a lot of water dumped on Central and SE Texas.

It won't be short for the Trinity... LOT of water north of Lake Livingston that will keep the gates open a while... Looking like it will be another wash out this year... That will make it like 5 out of the last 6 years for the Fall...

Boy, can't believe the Sabine is a trickle. Where did all the water go that has been coming through East Texas. For the past week water level has been about 2 feet below the 31 bridge at Longview and rising. Drove over the bridge this afternoon and it is almost licking the bottom of bridge. Normally it is 20 plus feet below bridge. Been high for over two weeks and the ajoining ranches and roads have been flooded over that long. I knew they were holding back water for repairs but is Toledo Bend big enough to hold it back.

This is really below average for me based on my logistics. Moved there to be close to saltwater. LOL You know. Travel less fish more. Has not been the case for (see quote). So, travel it is.

Yeah you're making 1.5 hour trips to get to the real salt in West Bay or East. Ouch... You can't even take the boat by water :-( with the spring winds.. sucks.

Slick... yeah I think you're right... that last additional storm put the lid on it.

Sabine.. The flow out of T-bend is stopped shortly ... they had drawn down the lake to repair some rock rip rap or something below the dam that occurred after Harvey I believe. So once the lake hits full pool if it hasn't already.. it'll start to flow. Don't worry, the neches will provide plenty of flow. ;-)

yea, I have hunting property along the trinity... Last few years, bowfishing around my corn feeders has been better than bow hunting!! Couple years back, I was bowfishing out of a buddy's Polaris Ranger.. standing up in the back of it shooting fish as they swam across the road!! Looks like it's gonna be that way again... Think I'll concentrate my saltwater fishing east this year... more fish, less fresh water, more generous limits for us old school people who still believe in catch n release (catch in the water, release in the grease)
