Tobin - Don't you have a reef marked very near there, but on the south side of the channel?

I've heard this hullwrecker has claimed at least one sailboat

Yes, there is a reef just west of there on the south side of the channel. Supposedly this object is in the channel itself, 4-5' under the surface in the channel itself.

Thanks for the info. Is this a recent/new object?

Been running the channel for 30 years and never hit anything regardless of tide level. However, haven't been that way since last October.

The CG was supposed to drag that area, some think its a old boat
moving around with the tide.

The spot you selected is about right according to rumor. 2nd set of sticks
(channel markers) .
I wonder if the beast has found it , they are back running if they have not

hit it yet. I have not been out there but when I go I will turn north south
pretty quick and keep speed down.

I'd assume since the tide is up now (not winter post cold front low) that most people will be ok. I'll rescan that channel later this spring and get a waypoint for it.
