This weekend 2/2

Anybody going to attempt to go out? The seas seem to be 3.5ft at 7s with winds around 10 mph.

I'm at a retreat all weekend but unless you're fishing out of a 50+ft sport fisher...not sure I'd venture out far in 3.5ft seas

Good luck! Buoyweather showing 4'@7 seconds. Also shows relatively light winds. You might get lucky!

that's the main problem with trying to preplan tuna trips, especially this time of year.

Yep, need to be able to jump when the window opens.
I used to do a lot of party boat trip when I was in my 20’s. Don’t know how many times we ended up getting beat up for 24-36 hours or just getting cancelled on the morning of the trip.

I must be missing something? NOAA is showing 5-10 winds with seas at 2-3' out of Freeport for Saturday and Sunday. I know they are pathological guesser's and only right 50% of the time.... Screw it, I'll just take the kids to Galveston Bay to catch some chum for the next opportunity.

That is exactly what I am going to do this weekend with the kids....60 mile buoy still shows 4 ft at 7 seconds with wind over 15mph.
