I can assure you NOAA and the USCG are still doing their job. They just arent doing as much training.

The federal wardens are probably not patrolling...but the state wardens are, and some of them are paid to enforce federal laws. We live where I watch the USCG helicopters come in every evening to Ellington to fuel up...typically a string of 3 or more in line...and they are apparently still doing what they do...

The NOAA officers are patrolling. One of them is furloughed. The others in our area are still patrolling.
