This conversation has me wondering what outfit you all would use out of the following:
1. Curado 70 + Latis stick 6' 7"
2. Curado 200 + Solo stick 6' 7"
3. Origin TX + Falcon coastal 7' 6"

All strung with 20-30 lb braid.

Asking for a friend... all options interchangeable.....

The Curado 70 vs Curado 200 argument is almost as bad as Ford vs Chevy.

My opinion, the 70 is lighter and the point of that Latis Stick is to be light. I'd pair them just like you've got them. I don't think I'd choose the Latis/70 for a trip to the jetties to catch bull reds, or inside the POC jetties in the spring when the big jacks are everywhere. Between the smallish line capacity and something like 10 lbs. of drag, I would rather have the 200 for those jobs. But for most normal bay duty, I like it.

I had a 70. It was nice for a while, then it started making noise and wasn't very smooth. Got rid of it, got the Concept A.

Out of those options, I'd choose #1. Latis Stik but I'd go Lews Lite or Concept C for that price range.

Those are my 3 weapons of choice.

Generally I wade with all 3 interchangeably depending on the weather and what I think I will throw. I will start using a SUP/kayak hybrid next weekend and will be able to carry all 3, which I am really looking forward to.
