Farah does columns for the Island Moon newspaper on a regular basis (Backwater Adventures) ... you can get a feel for what kind of guide/person he is if you read some of his columns ... the paper is free weekly and so is the site/web ... many locals choose to have him guide ...

Joey Farrah is a great boat guide. Butch White is also good from the boat. Adam Dolle with Daily Limit Guide service is also great, wades a lot and think does boat trips also. Adam is hunting now but should be back to fishing soon.

You can scratch Peterek, you'll be in the water with him. He is the man though, my son will be throwing Corkies with him Monday.

Peterek, Rowsey, Les Cobb, the Blacks. All good.

I'd suggest finding out what the personal experience is with Farah BEFORE recommending him... just saying.

Don't forget our own Capt. Marcus Canales! He knows how to fish and he knows which guides and lodges to stay away from.

That was Les Cobb, dang spell check. He grew up in Rivera and knows it like the back of his hand. He use to dominate the front cover of the original Gulf Coast Connection paper back when it was good.
