I wear these under waders, when I wet wade, and even when I deer hunt and wear rubber boots.

I wear a silk-weight tech base, wool sock, and then the neoprene footie from my waders. I have two different thickness of wool socks and will choose accordingly. All my socks are also knee high for extra warmth.

Wader OTC and Liner Crew? Looking at ordering some today.

Either
the Heavy Expedition Boot https://www.fitssock.com/collections...nt=14981509191 can probably use the Liner Crew with this one

or

the Wader OTC its a little thicker and much taller (a true OTC) https://www.fitssock.com/collections...nt=30955615559

Pair that with their Film sock as a liner https://www.fitssock.com/collections...nt=30955585991

tarpon wow

I've been wading for quite some time(cold cold water), with wool sox, simms waders and boots(nothing special), my feet never feel the slightest of cool much less cold. Tuesday my fishing partner mentioned several times the water was cold, 43 degress air temp at the ramp(630am), water temp 52 degrees. I never felt it so not sure what he had on but I was fine, in my paper thin simms. I layer very well as I don't like to be cold, hard to concentrate on the matter at hand. But when warm in cold weather and water, there is no better feeling.

I ordered a pair of G4$z's from simms, will be here on the 22 or 23. In the mean time I'm wearing my 15 to 18 year old paper thin simms, with at least, no exaggeration, 50 hole patches and glue spots. Patched three holes last week and they were almost perfect Tuesday. Even with a small small leak, enough to hit my outer layer, I never felt it.

On a side note, I caught my longest fish ever but not heaviest. Was a couple hundred yards from my partner so was unable to get a pic. Wasn't too concerned because didn't have the weight. 30 inches 7 1/4lbs. We also released 2 over 27.

25% off Fits socks if you use the link below. Wore mine the other day and they were extremely comfortable and warm, but not swampy. I bought the Wader OTC and Film OTC, and I’m probably going to buy some shorter ones to wear without my waders.
