Big Schools of Reds
See them like that every year here in Galveston Bay mainly from mid-June to mid-July. Used to see them every September and October nearshore off the beach when I used to tarpon fish a lot. I've seen more this year in the bay than ever before. Seems like the redfish are everywhere since Ike.

15 years ago with my brother-in-law in the Matagorda surf. We were wade fishing and every thing was perfect. A school reds move around us like we were fence post. That has to be one of the best fishing days I ever had.

Schools of Reds
Before they ate them all up to blacken, I used to see schools a mile long in the open Gulf while shrimping.
There are a lots of redfish which have made a remarkable comeback since the net ban. IMHO; the limits should be reevaluated. C2 |

I have seen it in the trinity. But the fish were slot fish. Had 3 rods on the boat and 3 hooked up at one time.. Was an awsome sight. Thanks for the link..
