just got this new Van Staal fly reel. I've only used it once but it works great. It's built like their world famous spinning reels. drag is super smooth, it all metal, on plastic. It's sealed with good screw down o rings. It's as good or better than any $500-600 reel on the market. And it only cost $250. I would highly recommend this reel for any service.

Very cool. If it is anywhere near the same quality as their spinners, that reel will last a lifetime. Nice score.
