Question Catching skipjack

Has anyone been successful catching skipjack behind the Livingston dam during the winter months? If so, could you provide the bait/lure you used?

I used to on a regular basis, killer catfish bait cut and small ones were unreal striper bait live lined, but I have not seen many of them in years.
They like a good rise and will hit tiny white tandem jigs skipped along the top or one tied behind a small top water lure a few inches. Usually if you see rafts of mullet there will e some around. Locate them by their small top water "hits" usually where swift current/eddy merges.

Not very good at that, expect for fishing with worms on bottom with a light line and small hook below the dam. Other than that I fling the cast net in spots where I see them roll.

Thanks, I'm going to try behind the dam with a few lures and bait options this weekend.
