So last year had front brake job done motorcraft parts, noticed brakes getting a little light checked, and the pads need replaced again, only been just under 30,000 miles.

Well I just ordered a set of the severe duty motorcraft brake pads, McRee Ford did not have them in stock.
WOW, $165 for a set of 4.

I have been using the lifetime ceramic pads on our F350 and Excursion 7.3L's for many years from the local parts store and have been really happy with them. I won't buy the rotors from the parts store though...they just don't hold up like the original equipment units.
