No tunes while running. I don't like others loud music and won't do the same to them. When I get to where I'm going I might put something on nice and low.

100% agree have a little respect for others not everyone wants to hear what your listening to. Same thing goes for the disrespectful boaters who fly by wot while you’re anchored up.

Haha, Koe Wetzel came on my Amazon feed just as I read this.

Nothing says "I'm a douche canoe" more to me than someone "bassing" across a shallow flat. I hate it with every fiber of my being. If you want to jam out while running the ICW, by all means knock yourself out. If you are in a fishing area, for goodness sake turn it off.

I was wading out in San Antonio bay a couple of weeks ago and I swear we could hear a boat and their music from a couple of miles away. It was annoying to say the least.

I blast mine while running and turn it down while fishing to a level that everyone on the boat can talk over when fishing. You enjoy your time on the water how you like it, and I'll do the same.

wow. that's a lot of hate. do you leave the dock just waiting to find something/someone to hate on? there is nothing more enjoyable than wading a shoreline while listening to great tunes. if you can hear my tunes then you're too dam close. take your hating arse to another spot. music enhances everything. /s/ douche canoe #1. there's a lot of folks on this forum that want the open water to be for them and them alone - any interference ruins their day. if that many things bother you then you must be miserable most days.

And there are those that think the bay belongs to them. If you want to listen to music, go to a bar or find a secluded spot where I don’t have to listen to it. I love music, especially live music more than anyone else, but I don’t want someone else’s genre forced on me. Not at a traffic light and not while drifting a reef.
