Slowly Getting Back

Our house had to be rebuilt after Hurricane Irma (Oct 2017) so I've had what rod building stuff I was able to salvage in storage. Finally moved back and have a shop to work in again. Only tool missing is the bandsaw I dropped moving to storage and broke the frame . I usually do these inlays with EVA but used some "economy" cork rings instead. Anyway, the inlay came out good even in the ugly cork, and matches the butt cap pretty well.

Thanks for looking.

Sometimes when you are a pro/perfectionist in any area of interest, you see flaws that NOBODY in the world would ever see. That looks awesome to me and only wish I had a custom rod with that kind of work on it. Congrats.
