I saw you rubbing the jig on the fish. I started doing that years ago when spec trout fishing in Louisiana. I do it now on crappie.
I think it works.


Where were you fishing - Lake Houston?

2nd biggest bass I ever saw come out of that lake! I did see one that touched 8 a few times when scaling but he got DQed for a small fish. Thats a real good one for that lake!

I've caught a few that I didn't weigh but they were in the 5lb range I'm guessing....... All caught on crappie jigs.... This fish was the biggest I've caught on a crappie jig so far..... Thanks.....
