13gauge is a Landlubber (+10 to -10)
Palmetto State Arms

Looking at buying a few PSA rifle build kits and wondering if they are worth the money or if I should save my money and spend a little extra on another brand?

I have two ar15 psa builds. I am well satisfied with both. They both shoot and cycle without any problems. One shoots clover leads at 100 yards when clean. (I am sure this is the exception not the norm) The other shoots good but not as good. I see no reason to spend more on a hunting rifle.

Familiarize yourself with their different "grades" and make an informed decision...I have zero complaints with my PSA builds and components.

Have a buddy that put one of the kits together. Think it was $280 minus the lower. The stock was a little wobbley and flimsy but the rest was nice. Ran like a champ what we shot it.

I have a PSA and it is fine. I do change everything to a single stage trigger. Look at Bear Creek also. https://www.bearcreekarsenal.com/ And if you want to shop local, Primary Arms.

I’d take a PSA over bear creek any day of the week. PSA also has good customer support.

Not a fan of their lower parts kit but the rest of it is worth it, have quite a few and at minimum the rigger needs replaced. I usually throw in an ALG defense and call it a day

I just got my first PSA in 6.5G. It has Magpul furniture, so that works fine. Also has their "polished" trigger which is not a highly "precision" grade trigger (as compared to Jewell or Timney), but very nice for hunting, etc. It does have some issues with failure to load out of the mag, but pretty sure that isn't the rifle, rather the mag.
Overall, fit and finish on the PSA parts is very nice and acceptable. The accuracy is good with factory ammo.
