In April 2018, the Fieldworkers Club (click here) traveled to Cuba to help with tarpon research. ITCA provided conventional streamer tags through its tagging program to place in tarpon. This is believed to be the first time tarpon have been actively tagged with conventional tags in Cuba. Over six days, fifteen anglers wrestled with 158 tarpon and 7 permit. A total of 13 tarpon were tagged. Great work guys!!!
I lived in Florida. Well, no not really but I hooked up with my first **** in Marathon back in the summer of 96. Now waiting for the tarpon to arrive in Texas. I'll be in that alley way out of G-town as soon as they show up. Love the work these men ar doing. I wish it was that easy here in texas.
