The trip was called off after long discussions with the members and Capt. John. We also discussed a shorter trip, but keeping safety first, it didn't happen. It was good to meet the other members going on the trip, and I sure wished the weather had been better. I was very impressed by Capt. John, and hopefully, the makeup trip will see better weather. I just checked the buoy weather, and it confirmed that offshore isn't the place to be, right at the moment.

Yeah, it was a no go. The weather report changed for the worse on Thursday afternoon. Winds are now blowing 25mph North at bouy #42019 and 23mph N at #42020. Not worth wasting $500 to puke, get covered in saltwater, and catch no fish. It was great meeting everyone and painful to cancel, but it was the best choice. The front blew into PA about 9am. It is too bad it didn't stall somewhere over Texas as we first thought it may.
